Military Time Conversion Chart

Potential military recruits usually ask if midnight is written/spoken as 2400 or 0000. The answer is that military personnel refer to midnight both ways. However, digital watches and clocks that display time in a 24-hour format and computer equipment treat midnight as the start of a new day and express it as 0000.

Go to wal-mart and purchase a $15 digital watch and set it to 24 hour time. Familiarize yourself with the basics so when you get to training you can concentrate on the hard stuff.
